Climb Up the Place Nearest to Heaven

Getting tired of your everyday life already? Feeling nervous about jobs and assignment? If the answer to above questions are yes, maybe you will be eager to have a vacation to travel around, and get rid of this annoying world. You may raise an idea to fly to a foreign country to release and experience other kinds of life style. But there is and alternative option for you, and it mat be as interesting yet cost less money-mountain climbing.
You can enjoy the spectacular view at the top of the mountain, and on the course to get on the top, you may get some exercise, and have the fun of team work. With these benefits, mountain climbing ranks as one of the most interesting outdoor activities.
But before you get to climb the mountain, you must prepare for the trip. The following are some things you have to do:
First of all, you can not rush into the mountain area and say you want to climb the mountain top. You have to set a procedure to instruct your course. You are required to investigate all the track and choose the appropriate way to the top. You have to decide when you will reach the specific spot beforehand. If you can find someone who is familiar with that area as guard, then you don’t have to worry about it.
Second, you have to buy equipment, such as clothing, cookers, foods, and tanks. Just remember one point, bring the necessary event, or you will regret after you are exhausted from loading too many things.
Third, you should always be well-prepared for the crisis, for example, if you run across typhoon in mountain, how could you do to retreat safely. Or if you get stuck because of scramble, how could you do to acquire the rescue. You also have to consider these situations before you get on the road.
Mountain climbing can be fun, but you have to prepare for it, or it would be turn out to be terrible.

a Picture(revise)

This is a picture of the street in Paris. On the left side was an old building with many windows. In the middle of the picture was a streetlamp. Its height was about two floors, and on the front side was a bus with green color on its coping. On the right side were a green tree and an old building, which style was the same as the left. On the bottom was the road with zebra line. On the upside of the road were a car, a bus, and a man, on whose back was a packsack.
This was my first time to wait for the bus in foreign country. After handling some work, I went out from the left side building, and began to wait for the bus. Many cars got jammed in front of me on the street. So, I knew it may cost me so much time to wait for the bus I expect. After a while, there was a bus in front of the building near me, but it was still not the one. Feeling the wind, I looked at the shiver of the green leaves hanged at the distant tree. The tree was near the opposing building. Suddenly, a continuous whistle voice appeared, broke the silence. It showed that someone’s impatience and so was I. But I still stood at the same position and waited. I was a little annoyed at wasting so long time and waiting for the bus. Gradually, I felt bored, for the dull scene made me fall asleep. Moreover, as the sun was getting scorching hot. I felt a little regret. I should asked my brother running the errand for me, so that I would not have waited here. On thinking this, I felt so regret. Time flies, and the wrong bus still stay before my eyes.

Test

So many tests make me irritated. I have not the mood to prepared the final test. I think it is the time to prepare. Chemistry subject is the most terrible I think. I cannot understand the what textbook tell, and I may got bad grade.

Letter

Dear Jane, June 5
After this semester, you have taught me a lot, maybe, I have learned a lot. I used to make some error, which results from ignoring some seems basic but important composition skill. For example, when it is necessary to connect sentence, I sometimes forgot to use conjunction, called run on sentence. Besides, I learn the method of how to write a composition in order such as listing order, time order, space order, and so on., from which I could write composition more coherent than before. Also, I discover the importance of writing draft;through writing draft, I can rearrange my composition in a better way.
In the future, I hope that I could learn the description someone or something in accurate because my vocabulary is not enough to allow me to describe and say what I want to say thoroughly.
Only do this semester came approach to end could I realize that teacher is full of earnestness and goodwill, that is to say, you are a good teacher.
Sincerely, Louis

Antigone

Antigone, who was an admirable female, rather violating the meaningless edict, burying his brother than mourn his brother by weeping in back side. Despite the fact that she knew the end she would meet, when she chose to bury his brother, she still did. Maybe someone would see her behavior is nothing but to seek death, but I still feel that the courage is really impressive espicially in this society.

Creon

Creon is a self-centered ruler. He just consider that he is always right and he does not believe the words of the watchman. He thinks of the watchman as a cheater at first thought, so he would not listen to his words anymore, and on hearing the watchman's words, he will become glutted with wroth. Really, when one is angry, to say something is of no avail. His attitude towards the watchman is unbealievable, serious, intimidated, and angry. Despite the fact that he said he holds Zesus in awe, however, he just goes on his own thought, even, regards the thought as the same of Zesus's. His stubbern attitude results mostly from his proud, which leads to his failure. What a pity ruler he is!

Hold my dreams

Hold fast to dreams
For if dream die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow -Langston Hughes

I feel that my dreams seems to go and die.
I want to hold my dreams.

Everyone might get sick in oridinary life, so it is a major thing to kmow how to see a doctor. A professiomal assist like doctor would really help. However, how to see a doctor in Taiwan? It is really a crucial question when you are in need.
First, register on the Internet, and read the introduction of the doctor you want to see, which is important, for it could provide what the doctor goods at. My Childhood

Rainyday days always remind me of my childhood. This I spent largely with my grandparents in th countryside. I love to sit by my grandmother who was always humming and singing while ironing clothes. I would sing along with her rustic and nostalgic voice. While she ironed, my grandfather enjoyed playing his old Chinese violin to accompany us. He often tried to teach mr how to sing the old folk songs to music. As I was not good at singnig, all three of us would burst into laughter. They are wonderful memories of my childhood.
Now whenever it rains, I picture myself with my grandparents and the memories come flooding back. place of the folk songs, the melancholy sound of my grandfarther's violin and the overall sense of love and acceptance, all that remains is an empty house and a few sweet memories.

Fish dinner

http://literacynet.org/cnnsf/fishdinner/stoty.html
Mercury contamination of our waterways has led to fish consumption
warnings . A women named Wendy Moro felt severe fatigue and vertigo, very weak . It is seemed that her illness was stem from the food what she ate ; that is, she ate the polluted fish .Dozens of the doctor’ Bay Area patients have the same problems , which provoke the writer and his friend’ interest , so they decided to do the test ,realizing whether fish in this area is safe, how much fish is safe to eat ,and how much mercury consumers are actually ingesting . As a result , they found that only halibut was under the limit; other fish was contained more mercury than the EPA recommends, and the larger the fish is, the more the exposure. What was there conclusion? They said that it was too dangerous for people to try how much mercury consumer is safe.
Despite the fact that I have already known the mercury is toxic , I still recognize it as a element only exist in the laboratory ,. Never do I think it not only stay in the lab , but it also emerges in our food , in the air , and in the everywhere you cannot notice. For me , I was startled both by its toxin and its accumulation. Once we digest the food involved the mercury , we cannot get rid of them ,moreover , we may harm our descendant unnoticely. However, in the same time we feel fearful, we should come up with the way to solve the problem , instead of just getting away from them .First, we should condemn those industry which only think of their profits , regardless of people’ health . Second, we should urge our government enact the law concerning the pollution more strictly and more literally ..Last, we should instill the moral to our descendent , for them to protect their health and their environment.

Grads Enter Uncertain Job Market

http://literacynet.org/cnnsf/grads/stoty.html
College graduation is not the same as the fact that you have gotten a well-paying job, for the time has changed. As the uncertain future is approaching, many people are faced to be lay off and many young people are worried about their future. Despite the fact that Internet market seems to provide many hopes for them ,many of the company eventually failed. However, there are some fields that are still popular in the bad economy surroundings, such as chemical engineering, accounting, nursing…and so on. Conversely, computer science, political science, and information systems management have been declined. Besides, battery yourself has become a vital element for you to stay in the ferocious market.
According to the article, we should change our mind to pace with the society pulsing, realizing that the degree may not be key to instant wealth. Take low posture and a humble mind to cater for all the opinions and to battery myself. Besides, we should select the vibrate occupation, which would enable us to get away from the unneeded whirlpool, and to make a better profit than others. Although i may not see clearly the road i should go, I still believe that God close the door, open the other. Only do I exert myself can I realize the ecstasy of my sweat and the harvest of content.

Superstitions

Different people have different attitudes towards superstitious beliefs. Some take superstitions very seriously and will not do anything that might cause them bad luck. For instance, there are people who will never travel on Friday the 13th, and others will not dress in certain colors, or they may carry lucky objests with them everywhere they go. Others just follow certain superstitions out of a sense of fun. They do not really believe in them, but they do not want to tke any chances.
As for me, I do not consider myself superstitious at all. That does not mean I do not believe in good luck or bad luck, only hat I do not accept that they can be influenced in advance by such events as seeing a black cat or choosing a certain day to do someyhing. However, like many other people, I enjoy observing traditional customs, even when there is no obvious practical benefit. I believe that, in many cases, old traditions can help maintain socieal harmony as well as make life more enjoyable.

Taking Care of the Elderly

In rencentl years, there have been cases of the old oeople dying alone in their appartments, not being found for several weeks. Besides, we notice that the elderly form a large prportion of homeless people on city streets. More fightening are the numerous horor stories about the ill treatment of the senior citizens who live in nursing homes of poop quarlity.
In the past, it was traditionally the responsiblilty of adult children to take care of their aging family members. Nowadays, however, society is much more complex and people find it hard to cope with the pressures of modern life. The result is that many families are unable to properly carefor their senior members. This problem is also growing alone with the overall aging of the population. In my opinion, the government can solve the problem by investing more money in building up better-quality nursing homes. Besides, we should promote the traditional virtue of filial piety, which should not fade away with times. Swnior citizenx have contributed their best years to their country, society and families, and they deserve dignity and proper care during the last stage of life.

Take a Break

I used to take a break after lunch. However, I cannot do it this day, for I have to prepare the English quiz. It is really annoying me that the quiz often test us some definition that is hard to express in English, and it is hard to memory dull and meaningless terms. So, I canoot choice but to study burning the noon oil. I think that my laziness yesterday result in today's hardwork and fatigue. On the tops of the mountains rest soft white clouds. In the classroom sat a tired student...

Obese Should Exercise Not 'Diet'

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/6206572.stm
Obesity is becoming increasingly common in developed countries and is associated with an increased risk of hypertension, heart disease, and other chronic diseases. We used to think that exercise and diet is the only road to lose fat. But the recent research have a difference of opinions. They said that despite only a small amount of weight loss, the women in the program ended up significantly fitter. A healthy life style could improve health risks regardless of weight. We can improve fitness without losing weight as we can gain muscle and lose fat and weigh the same or even gain weight. It is quite well known that we can improve our life style and reduce our risk of cancer, stroke and heart disease.

Good Weather

Good weather always reminds me of traveling. Maybe, many people compare the importance between travel and read. In order to instill the importance of reading into us, we have been taught, since we were young, that we can learn more from reading a thousand books than walking a thousand miles. While books may contain all there is to know in the world, it is also true that" a picture is worth a thousand words." You have to see to believe.

My whole family went on an outing to Hualien last summer. During the trip, we visited places that I had read about in my geography book. When we came to the Chingsui Cliff, I was amazed at its sheerness and height, and exclaimed,"So that's why thwy call it the 'broken cliff'!"

After I saw the place myself, the whole east coast is imprinted on my mind, and I don't need rely on a textbook. St. Augustine said,"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only on page." What you know is not yours, unless you experience it on your own.

4/7

Today was still a rainy day. Heavy cloud, pouring rain, sometimes accompanied thounder ,also, a bolt of lighten flashed across the sky. So, I still stayed home. Not knowing what to do, I just played the computer, watched TV, read novels, and slept. However, I found I really enjoyed the leisure time, in which I didn't have to think about something, just did what I wanted to do. Despite the fact that it is really spent time, I thought sometimes idling time is necessary for me to continue the following seven years.

So Cold~

The weather is really so cold! Recently, it is really cold just like winter. However, it should be spring filled with fresh and colorful rather than inaminate and dull scene. Besides, my friend also caught cold just by this strange temperature and cannot get out with me. It is a pity that I seldom have a vacation. So, I really a little complain about the weather. What a annoying weather it is! Then, I think it is time to go to bed, for the time and the temperature is suitable for sleep.

Harry Potter

After reading Harry Potter series, I have found Harry Potter a lovable character. The description of the boy is not all overwhelming, and therefore easy to accept. We all dream of becomin a hero once in a while, but at the same time, we all fear that we are too weak to accomplish anything heroic. Conventionally, we all consider heros to be very strong, possibly handsome, and with underbelievable courage. However, Harry Potter is none of the above. He is small in size, not particulrly good-looking, and leads a miserable life among the Muggles. It is very easy for readers to identify with him.
Another reason Harry is so well loved is that the part Harry plays in the series illustrate the popular belief that we are all made rhe way we are for a purpose. Because he is so small in size, he can move fast and unnotice through the air, and therefore make a great seeker in Quidditich. Even through all the students in Hogwarts Have magic powers, not all can play the game well. This inspires us to believe that one day we can discover our life goal and yield unusual brilliant in some fields for our uniquenss.

The End

When I went out of the class, it is the end of this day. Maybe I was always loaded too many cares. I wondered how many tests should prepare? How many homework should do? how many weight I gain? How many days I could live? How many things I can overcome? How much time I can use? How many delicacies I can eat? How much I have spent? How do I go through irritating things? However, after the day, it is the end in this week. I can take a breath.

The Basketaball Game

In this weekend, I took part in a basketball game hold nearby. At first, we were awed by the amazing skills performed by the other team. Their past record was so impressive that we believe that they were unbeatable and the odds were against us. Even though both teams wereeven matches by mid-game, we still went all out to win. As time was running out, the rivalry between two teams became fiercer. Afterwards. our team miraculously came from behind, and defeat our rivals with a three-point shot. What I learned from this game is that problems in life can be solved in a similar manner through teamwork, concentration, and hope.

The Da Vanci Code

A friend of mine kept telling me I had to read the best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code. So, I gave it a try, and I really derived a lot of pleasure from this original and plot-tighted book. However, I still don't believe something the book told.
Recently, The Da Vanci Code has drawn lots of attraction. Apparently, many people are even going on special tours of the locations that appears in the novel. I would like to visit many mysterious places one day. It could be a special experience

This is made by my classmates, not by me.

John and I have a lot of fun in room. We are good friends and we go out together every week. In fact, he love my sister very much! He loves her to die! He wants to tell her that, but he dare not to do it. He always misses her whenever he can't see him. He wants to do everything with her, and expect to be by the side of him forever. But he dosen’t think it is a good time to tell everybody that he loves her so much because he is not ready to be a guy in public. He feels so bad because he can’t touch her and kiss her.

Saturday, March 17, 2007

Yesterday I went to night market. One of my favorite delicacies is actually a beverage, named pearl milk tea. Pearl milk tea is a unique and refreshing drink. It is made from cold milk, tea, and little round balls of tapioca. These are the "pearls"in the drink. In order to feel the heaven's taste, I waited half an hour. So many people lined in front of me, but I still waited in patient because the pearl milk tea there is very tasty and well worth waiting for.

Today is a happy day,for it is the end of this hectic week i think. The weather is getting warm, which warms my heart and is a suitable day to travel .Maybe i travel far into Sahara Desert, deep under the Atlantic Ocean, up the top of the pyramids, and into the ancient and sacred tombs of the old pharaohs.I still want to go surfing in space and visit the planet Mars. However, I just wonder ...... It seems a little far from me, just a dream.
